INTERETHNIC COUNCIL OF GREATER CINCINNATI, INC. The INTERETHNIC COUNCIL OF GREATER CINCINNATI, INC. (IECGC) is a non-profit corporation and is supported by members from diverse ethnic and nationality groups. We exist to promote multicultural awareness, understanding, respect, and harmony among different ethnic groups and people of various national origins in Greater Cincinnati. The idea for creating the IECGC began in mid-1991. After monthly exploratory conferences, the IECGC was formally set up in March of 1992 and became incorporated under the laws of the state of Ohio on June 30, 1992. The Mission of the INTERETHNIC COUNCIL OF GREATER CINCINNATI, INC. are: To provide a forum for all ethnic and national origin groups, To educate ourselves and the public, To promote the values of cultural literacy.
